Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education acknowledge receipts of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board(JAMB) list. Some Tertiary Institutions have confirmed receiving provisional admission List by the JAMB, well others are yet to send word back to JAMB whether or not they have received the provisional admission list.
Universities, And Other Acknowledge JAMB Provisional List
Professor Dibu Ojerinde the JAMB Registrar confirmed the list been sent to tertiary institutions. He said the list forwarded contained names of candidates who passed the national cut-off mark (180) and were eligible for screening by the individual institutions.He asked institutions whose lists were not sufficient to use the omnibus printout earlier sent to them by the board.
He said,“Institutions are advised to source from the omnibus printout earlier sent to them by the board in the event that the list is not sufficient for the need of the institution. The candid intention of the board is to ensure that available spaces are adequately utilized”.
Institutions like Federal College of Education Rivers State has confirmed receiving a list also Gregory University Abia State have acknowledge the list as well.
