University of Ibadan Announces 2023 General Election Break
Pursuant to the Ministerial directive on the closure of all Universities and InterUniversity Centres with respect to the forthcoming 2023 general elections, the Management of the University of Ibadan (UI) has resolved that academic activities should be suspended temporarily from Wednesday, February 22 to Tuesday, March 14, 2023.
However, online lectures would start on Monday, 27 February 2023 while physical lectures will resume on Wednesday, 15 March 2023.
All Members of staff are expected to render their normal services during this period.
The management wishes all staff and students a peaceful and successful 2023 National election.
