UNIZIK Issues Resumption Update

The management of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka has issued an update regarding the resumptions rumours circulating. Students, Staff memebers as well as members of the public are hereby informed.

Below is the release as signed by Chika Gladys Ene, the Acting Head, Information and Public Relations/Chief Protocol Officer of the university dated 28th June 2020.

The attention of the University Management has been drawn to a piece of misleading information on the resumption of academic activities purportedly signed by the Acting Head, Information & Public Relations of the institution.

The forged document being peddled around is not only false but aimed at misleading the public.The University is abreast of the current global situation which has led to the temporary closure of schools across the Federation.

The three campuses of the University remain closed for Academic activities pending when the Federal Government considers it safe for the resumption of schools.Students are advised to stay back at home and encouraged to embrace the standard health safety protocols.
