UNN Hostel Accommodation Information 2016/2017
The University of Nigeria Nsukka, UNN has released to prospective candidates and students information about getting hostel accommodation for the 2016/2017 academic session. Students are to take heed to each warning and abide by the rules and regulations of the hostel.
UNN Hostel Accommodation Information 2016/2017
1. The University has limited spaces for student accommodation, so it would be on the first come first serve basis, as Newly admitted students and the final year students are given high priority during allocation.
2. The University gives newly admitted students 40% of the total accommodation, final years 25% while other years are allocated 35%.
3. Students who are nursing children must apply for accommodation online and must notify the authorities early, as they are permitted to stay alone in a room or be two persons in a room.
4. Students should have paid their school fees, Â Registered all courses online till date, Possess the University ID card or have been successfully captured, Possess and use the University student email address.
5. All hostel accommodation invoices are valid for only three days after generation. Any student who fails to pay within the three day period will be doing so at his/her own risk.
6. All Rev Sisters and intending corps members must follow the authorized process for accommodation henceforth.
7. Physically challenged students must also generate invoice and proceed to make payments promptly.
The following are not allowed in the hostel;
1. Squatting of any kind.
2. Late return to the hostel at night.
3. Smoking.
4. Drinking of Alcohol.
4. Stealing.
5. Fighting and quarrelling.
6. Use of hotplates, electric boiling ring, refrigerator, gas cooker and so on.
7. Use of generator sets.
8. Defecating and bathing at undesignated places.
9. Pouring of water in undesignated places.
10. Defacing of Hostel walls by posting of bills, posters and any document.
