University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) – What You Might Not Know About Them

Did you know that the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) is The Origin of University of Calabar? Okay, read on if you didn’t know. Here is how it all happened back then.

In October, 1973, a new campus (at this time, making it the third campus created by the University of Nigeria) was opened in Calabar, Cross River State. The campus ran for about 4 years as an additional campus to University of Nigeria, after opening Enugu campus. The new campus at Calabar became a full-fledged University, now known as University of Calabar in October 1977.

Now you know the origin of University of Calabar (UNICAL). It was formerly one of UNN Campuses before been converted to a full-fledged University. Do well by sharing this information with something too.
