Why You Should Try IJMB and Not UTME Anymore

Let me start by giving you the full meaning of IJMB as “Interim Joint Matriculation Board” while JAMB is “Joint Admission Matriculation Board”.

JAMB –UTME is for 100Level admission (Year One admission) while, IJMB is for 200Level admission (Year Two admission). The IJMB Programme is run on two semesters basis {Nine(9) academic Months}, after which JAMB Direct Entry Form will be obtained. Each candidate will fill the courses and universities they want to attend in the Direct Entry Form. The fantastic aspect of it is that, IJMB students will join their colleagues in 200Level. So may I put it this way; “You are indirectly in 100Level (Year one) during the IJMB Programme”.

So Cry No More, Enrol for 2016 IJMB session NOW. Form is currently on sale at five thousand Naira (#5,000) only. Apply today! This rare opportunity must not be taken for granted.

IJMB vs REMEDIALS/PRE-DEGREE PROGRAMME

  1. Admission to remedial program is not automatic. You will still wait for remedial list like waiting for regular admission list.

Admission to IJMB program is automatic

  1. Remedial can only be used in the institution where you did the Remedial.

IJMB results can be used in any federal, state and private universities all over Nigeria and abroad universities

  1. Remedial is used for 100Level admission.

IJMB is used for 200Level admission

  1. Remedial results are just valid for the current year after which it becomes useless in case admission is not secured in the current year.

IJMB result is permanent. No expiry date

  1. Remedial cost implication is either the same or more than that of IJMB.
  2. Remedial students must write and pass JAMB UTME before they can gain admission to the University.

IJMB does not require Jamb-UTME at all. Direct entry students do not write Jamb-UTME
