Jim Ovia Scholarship For Nigerian Students 2016

Application procedure for 2016 Jim Ovia Scholarship for Nigerian Students has been released. Jim Ovia Scholarship (formerly known as MUSTE Scholarship) board is inviting eligible Nigerian undergraduate students to apply for the 2016-2017 scholarship awards.

About The Jim Ovia Scholarship Awards

The awardees are given funding for undergraduate study for the duration of the undergraduate program. The award includes tuition and maintenance allowance. The scheme offers an average of 100 opportunities every year. The Financial records show that as at October 2010, Mr. Ovia has invested 100 Million Naira in the program on 1500 beneficiaries.

Below are the requirements to be eligible for the 2016 scholarship awards;

NOTE: Since “potential students of Nigerian citizenship” is stated as the requirement, students of Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education in Nigerian can apply for this scholarship.

How To Apply For the 2016 Jim Ovia Scholarships (MUSTE)

All applicant are to apply online. Both fresh students of tertiary institutions and those that are already in tertiary institutions (new and renewal) can apply. You can go to the application page by clicking here.

For Matriculated Students (New and Renewal)

For Newly Matriculated Students

Newly matriculated who have not yet received a matriculation number or school ID must provide a provisional admission letter to their institution of study.

When you get to the Jim Ovia scholarship application portal, click on ‘LOG IN’ or ‘REGISTER NOW’ at top right hand corner of the homepage. Create a new account or login with your existing credentials if you already have a Jim Ovia Scholar Account.

Application Start and Closing Date

Between September 15 and November 15 when the Jim Ovia scholarship application form becomes available, you can begin your application. Ensure to fill out all the data completely and accurately on your application.
