The management of the Abia State University (ABSU) has released the academic calendar for the second semester, 2020/2021 academic session.
ABSU Academic Calendar
The Vice-Chancellor and Chairman of Senate, Distinguished Professor Onyemachi M. Ogbulu, has graciously approved a revised calendar for the 2nd Semester, 2020/2021 academic session as follows:
- Saturday, 16th October, 2021 – Students Return
- Monday, 18th October, 2021 – 2nd Semester Lectures begin
- Friday, 7th January, 2022 – 2nd Semester Lectures end
- Monday, 10th January, 2022 – Revision begins
- Friday, 14th January, 2022 – Revision ends
- Monday, 17th January, 2022 – 2nd Semester Examinations begin
- Friday, 28th January, 2022 – 2nd Semester Examinations end
Students of the University are expected to pay their outstanding fees and register their courses within the stipulated Senate approved period to avoid sanctions.
