AKSU management through the University’ registry has released an inclusion of STUDENT UNION FEE charge into every student (both fresh and returning) fees and charges with effect from the new 2014/2015 session. All students of the Akwa Ibom State University, both new and returning as well as their sponsors are hereby informed.

Below is the breakdown of the included charges:

Grand Total of fees and charges for next session are as follows;
∞Old returning student [indigene]-N53,000.00
∞Old returning student (non-indigene)- 73,000.00
∞Fresh student (indigene) -N53,000.00 [with exclusion of Acceptance fee]
∞Fresh student (non-indigene)- N73,000.00 [with exclusion of Acceptance fee]
NOTE
Development Levy is paid by non-indigenes only.
Fresh students are expected to pay their fees and charges IN FULL before registration
Part payment of Tuition Fee (For Returning Students only)
Only returning students may be allowed to make part payment, but, at 50% of the tuition fee only, while all other charges must be paid in full. Therefore, a breakdown of such part – payment arrangement by returning students is as follows:
1st Semester 2nd Semester
Indigenes: 38,000.0015,000.00
Non-indigenes: 58,000.0015,000.00
Therefore, students are directed to make payments and register properly, before they would be allowed to attend lectures and participate in any academic activity
