JAMB Admission Status for 2015/2016 admission exercise is available for checking. All candidates who are seeking admission into Nigerian Universities, Polytechnic and Colleges are hereby informed. Such candidates must have applied for admission through JAMB UTME or Direct Entry.
Checking JAMB admission status will let you know if you have been offered admission into schools of your choice. After release of JAMB results, institutions have started sending the names of candidates they have offered provisional admission to JAMB. The authorities of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board now uploads such names to their admission status portal.
How To Check JAMB Admission Status For 2015/2016
As institutions starts sending their list of admitted students to JAMB, candidates want to know their status. Some schools don’t even publish admission list on their own websites. All they do is send the list to JAMB and expects candidates to go and check on JAMB admission status-checker.
- Go to the admission status portal of JAMB by clicking here
- Enter your JAMB registration number
- Finally, click on the Check Admission Status button
That way, you will see your JAMB admission status online. If you do not see your name and are confident of getting admission, you may want to check back later. Sometimes, it takes time to upload the lists and your own might still be pending upload.
