The 2018 Junior School Certificate Examination (aka Junior WAEC) timetable has been released. This is for all students who will be writing the Basic Education Certification Examination (BECE).
LATEST UPDATE: NECO 2019 BECE JSS3 Exam (Junior WAEC)
The 2018/19 Junior WAEC timetable is meant to prepare for their exams and also guide them through date and times for papers to be written.
All students that are in their third academic year at various junior secondary schools in the country are hereby informed. The JSCE exam is to transit students from Junior Secondary School 3 into Senior secondary School 1 i.e from JSS3 to SSS1.
About Basic Education Certification Examination
Each state of the federation and the FCT conducts the BECE for its candidates, NECO conducts the BECE for Federal Unity Colleges, Armed Forces Secondary Schools and other Federal establishments operating Secondary schools.
Private Secondary schools also take part in the NECO BECE provided they are permitted by their State Ministries of Education. Twenty two subjects are administered at the BECE level. A candidate is expected to sit for a minimum of ten subjects and a maximum of thirteen.
Junior WAEC Timetable [BECE] for 2018/2019 is out
A candidate is deemed to have passed the BECE if he/she has passes in six subjects including English and Mathematics.

*** Practical in Business Studies and Basic Science & Technology (BST) should be in sets where the number of candidates is large and the equipment cannot go round. However, the practical examination should not exceed 5.00pm. Computers can be used in place of manual Typewriters for Business Studies.
The above “JSS3 Exam timetable for 2018” is for all states in Nigeria including – Abia State, Adamawa State, Akwa Ibom State, Anambra State, Bauchi State, Bayelsa State, Benue State, Borno State, Cross River State, Delta State, Ebonyi State, Edo State, Ekiti State, and Enugu State.
