KWARAPOLY Bans “Signing Out” Ceremony After Final Exams

The authorities of Kwara State Polytechnic have banned the “signing out ceremony” done by students after their last final year examination. In a message published on the school website, the school management tagged the act immoral, indecent and absurd.

The statement signed by the management further announced the ban of the “signing out ceremony”, directing students to desist from it. Students caught participating will be summarily expelled.

OUTRIGHT BAN OF “SIGNING OUT CEREMONY”

The attention of the Polytechnic has been drawn to immorality, indecency and absurdity associated with the ceremony popularly called “Signing out” being carried out by students in tertiary institutions.

This new trend is disturbing and usually portrays the image of the institutions in bad light. Consequently, I am directed to inform you that “Signing Out Ceremony” has been banned by the Polytechnic Authority within the Campuses.

I am further directed to indicate that any student caught participating in such immoral acts will be EXPELLED IMMEDIATELY.
