Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, invites UTME and Direct Entry candidates—whether they initially selected KWASU or plan to switch—to apply through the university’s online portal. Registration runs from Friday, July 18, 2025, to Sunday, August 17, 2025.

KWASU Post UTME and DE Form 2025/2026 Admission Details

Kwara State University has opened its admission portal for UTME and Direct Entry applicants seeking admission into its various undergraduate programmes. The process is open to candidates who selected KWASU as their first choice, as well as those willing to switch.

Who Is Eligible to Apply for the KWASU Post UTME and DE Form?

You can apply for the KWASU Post UTME and DE Form if you:

Selected KWASU as your first choice in the 2025 JAMB UTME or Direct Entry
Scored the minimum required mark in the 2025 UTME
Have at least five O’Level credit passes in subjects relevant to your proposed course (from WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB)

Note:

Results must be from not more than two sittings
For the MBBS program, all five credits must be obtained in one sitting
Candidates awaiting results may apply, but admission is only confirmed once grades are uploaded

Screening Fee

₦2,000 only
The fee is non-refundable, so ensure all information provided is accurate before payment

How to Apply for KWASU Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening

Follow this step-by-step guide to complete your application:

Visit the KWASU Undergraduate Application Portal
Click “Undergraduate” at the top menu
Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click “Continue.”
Fill in your contact information
Proceed to the payment section and click “Make Payment.”
Pay using your debit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Verve)
Input the OTP sent to your phone to complete payment
After payment, log back in with your JAMB number and surname
Click “Login to Dashboard” and complete your registration
Print out your payment receipt and completed registration form

Payment Troubleshooting Tip:

If your transaction fails due to network issues, you can re-query your payment by entering your JAMB registration number and Phone Number on the same portal.

Admission Guidelines and Conditions

Admission is merit-based, using a 70:30 weighting:
- 70% UTME or Direct Entry performance
- 30% O’Level grades
Ensure all uploaded documents are genuine and verifiable.
Providing false information or submitting fake credentials (e.g., a forged Certificate of Origin) will result in automatic disqualification and may lead to legal action.
Final admission decisions are based on:
- Departmental cut-off marks
- Availability of quota
