What is Post-UTME Screening Full Meaning?
It simply means Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. This is an examination conducted by various tertiary institutions in Nigeria to screen candidates for admission. It comes after the JAMB UTME.
Only candidates who score the minimum cut-off mark in the UTME are eligible to take part in the screenings. JAMB (link) and other stakeholders such as the Ministry of Education release cut-off marks.

What is Post-UTME for?
It is a form of standardized examination for entry into tertiary institutions of learning in Nigeria. That is universities, polytechnics, colleges and specialized institutions.
How do I register for post UTME 2025?
You should visit the school website complete and submit the screening application form online; and print out a copy of the Registration Form. Information will come out from the school you want at specific times. That is why you need to keep tabs on websites such as ours to always get updates.
What is the total mark for Post-UTME?
This largely depends on the school. Some schools will base this over 100 while others will base it over 150 or 200. It varies by school. The best way to get this information will be from the schools. Sometimes, candidates don’t even know the total mark until they do the screening.
What can I do after post UTME?
If the screening of your school has passed before you realized, here are your options:

Can I write Post-UTME before JAMB?
No! There is a reason for using the word “Post.” It is used to denote “after”. Therefore, whatever word comes after it cant happen earlier. It depends on the school. However, during COVID-19 restrictions, many schools conducted their screening online. If your schools decides to conduct the screening online, they will inform you when you apply.
