The state government through the Ministry of Education has announced the day all primary and secondary pupils will resume academic activities. Classes will resume on that day and everyone, including teachers and members of the schools communities are expected to comply.

The Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology has announced that all public and private primary and secondary schools, government science and technical colleges (GSTCs), and government technical and vocational colleges (GTVCs) will reopen on Monday, September 19, 2022, for the 2022/2023 academic session.
Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, the Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology said in a press release dated September 12, 2022, that registration for new students in various entrance classes had begun at their respective public primary, junior, and senior secondary schools.
