• The internship is to be conducted in Nigeria, lasting a non-renewable duration of 12 months.

The Postgraduate Research Internship programme is meticulously crafted to serve a dual purpose:

• Offering brilliant Nigerians a gateway to gain hands-on work experience.
• Providing an environment for the conduction of value-driven research within the precincts of SPDC.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

The eligibility criteria for this esteemed programme is as follows:

• The programme primarily targets exceptional Nigerian postgraduate students currently immersed in studies at Nigerian universities.
• While the focus is on domestic students, in rare instances, Nigerians pursuing their education abroad may also come under consideration.
• Age stipulations are clear: Master’s Degree aspirants must be below 30 years, and Ph.D. contenders should be below 35 years as of 2nd January 2024.
• Past participants of this programme need not apply as their applications will not be considered.

The research avenues under this programme encompass a range of disciplines, notably:

• Environment: Here, the emphasis is on Impact Assessment and the critical realm of Environmental Compliance Monitoring.
• Oil Spill Response: A pivotal area focusing on Ground Water Remediation techniques.
