NOTE: The Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) is for those candidates who are in the 3rd (final year) junior secondary school.

How To Check 2022 Junior WAEC Result (BECE for JSS3)

This is to inform all parents and guardians that the 2022 National Common Entrance Examination Results have been released.

In order to check your 2022 (JSS3)/BECE Junior WAEC result, you will have to purchase NECO token from NECO Portal for you to have access to the BECE result.

Candidates should buy the NECO BECE Result Cards at the NECO office. At of this year, you do not need to purchase a token or result-checker card. Therefore, all you have to do is fill in the required information (exam year, exam type, and registration number) by following the instructions below.

  • Candidates or their parent should visit my NECO result login at http://result.neco.gov.ng 
  • Choose Exam year, that is 2022
  • Now, choose the exam type, in this case “Basic Education Certificate Result”
  • Enter registration number in the respective field
  • After that, click on Check Result
  • You should now see your result or the result of your child revealed on the screen. You may want to print the it for future references.
  • Lastly, click on Check Result to view your ward’s BECE result.

How to check BECE Result For JSS3 2022 by State

All states can check their BECE results with the instructions above. However, there are also state-specific instructions for checking the basic education certificate examination.

For example, states such as Delta, Bauchi, Nasarawa and Plateau states. Use the instructions below to check if you are from any of the states above.

Delta State:

  • Visit Delta State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (DELTAMOBSE) portal – https://deltamobse.net/uportal/index.php.
  • Click on “Check Secondary Result Status (USING EXAM. NO.)”
  • Enter Pin Code and Exam Number in the respective fields
  • Finally, click on the Submit to access your ward’s junior waec result.

Bauchi State:

  • Students or their parents must go to Bauchi State Ministry of Education portal online at http://bece.moebauchi.bu.gov.ng/.

Lagos State

All principals of public junior high schools were urged to pick up their students’ school results at the appropriate Education District Headquarters, according to a statement signed by the director of the Lagos State Exams Board, Mr. Orunsolu Adebayo.

Principals of Approved Private Junior Secondary Schools that participated in the exam to visit the Board’s Head Office at 254, Ipaja Road, Agege, close to the NYSC Orientation Camp, to collect the grades of their students.

Re-sit exam for Junior WAEC applicants who failed English Studies, Mathematics, or both will take place provisionally on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at various designated centres across Lagos State’s six education districts.

Nasarawa State BECE Result:
