BSUM Cut-Off Mark for 2023/2024 Post UTME / Admission

The management of the Benue State University, Makurdi (BSUM) has announced the cut off mark for the 2023/2024 academic session’s admission exercise. According to the message published on the school website, the BSUM’s 2023/2024 Post-UTME cut-off mark is as follows:

All Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidates who applied for admission into the Benue State University, Makurdi for the 2023/2024 academic session and scored 150 points and above in the UTME are eligible to participate in the Post UTME exercise of the University.

However, applicants aiming for programmes such as Medicine & Surgery, Law, Nursing, Radiography & Radiation Science, and Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science need to secure a higher threshold of 220 points and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Furthermore, there’s a silver lining for candidates who may not have met the desired cut-off for specific programmes:

Those who applied for Law but achieved scores between 150 and 219 may still find opportunities in faculties such as Arts, Social Sciences, or Education.

Candidates with aspirations for Medicine & Surgery, Nursing Science, B.Sc. Radiography and Radiation Science, and Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) in the esteemed College of Health Sciences, yet garnered scores between 150 and 199, can consider venturing into related disciplines like Anatomy, Physiology, or other allied Sciences programmes.

Conclusively, BSUM cut-off mark is 150 for 2023/2024 Post-UTME screening and admission.

Best wishes from NGScholars!
