Federal University Otuoke, FUOtuoke second semester resumption date for 2015/2016 session has not changed. There was no postponement whatsoever in the dates for resumption and commencement of lectures. This is according to a message released on the official website of FUOTUOKE, which is in total contrasts to messages circulating on social media and some websites.
All students, lecturers, members of the university community and the general public are hereby informed. They should take note of this information and disregard the misleading ones. Below is the full message released by the management of Federal University Otuoke.
FUOTUOKE Did Not Postpone 2nd Semester Resumption Date – 2015/2016 Academic Session
The general public is hereby informed that Management of Federal University Otuoke is aware of false information making the rounds that the resumption date for the 2nd Semester 2015/2016 Session has been postponed to April 8, 2016 for Arrival on Campus and April 11, 2016 for commencement of lectures.
Management is using this medium to state categorically that resumption date for this 2nd Semester has not changed and remains as follows:
- Sunday 3rd April, 2016 – Arrival of Student.
- Monday 4th April, 2016 – Lectures Begins.
Students are hereby advised to disregard the false information and return immediately to campus as lectures will commence as scheduled.
In conclusion, FUOTUOKE second semester resumption date for 2015/2016 academic session remains Sunday, 3rd April, 2016. Lecture begins the following day – Monday.
