LAUTECH Open & Distance Learning Admission Form (2nd Round) 2018/2019

Ladoke Akuntola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, LAUTECH Open and Distance Learning programme admission form (second round) for the 2018/2019 academic session is out. Candidates willing to gain admission should apply for the 2018/2019 LAUTECH ODL degree programme.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the 2018/2019 Ladoke Akuntola University of Technology Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programme.

LAUTECH ODL Courses Available & Admission Requirements for 2018/2019 Admission

Here are the courses available for LAUTECH ODL admission for the 2018/2019 academic session;

1. FOUR (4) YEAR DURATION
2. Sc. Accounting
3. Sc. Marketing
4. Sc. Computer Science
5. Sc. Nursing Science

• Admission Requirements for B.Sc. Accounting and B.Sc Marketing
  Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings and the subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other relevant subjects. Commerce may be acceptable in lieu of Economics for B.Sc . Accounting and Marketing
• Admission Requirements for B.Sc. Computer Science
  Applicants must possess at least (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings and the subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics with any two of the following subjects :Further Mathematics, Chemistry, ,Biology, Agricultural Science, Economics and Geography
• Admission Requirements for BN.Sc. Nursing Science
  Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO at not more than two sittings in relevant subjects. In addition, applicants should possess Registered Nurse Certificate (RN) or its equivalent. credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings and the subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

4. Sc. Computer Science

• Admission Requirements for B.Sc. Accounting and B.Sc. Marketing
  • Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from recognised polytechnics with a minimum of Lower Credit in Accounting/Marketing with relevant professional qualification may be considered.
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognised polytechnics with pass in Accounting/Marketing or other related disciplines may also be considered
  • Good credit passes in “A” Level certificate in relevant subjects may also be considered.
• Admission Requirements for B.Sc. Computer Science
  • Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from a recognised polytechnic with Minimum of Upper Credit in Computer Science Engineering/Technology or any other relevant disciplines may also be considered.
  • Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from recognised polytechnics with a minimum of Lower credit in Computer Science or Computer Engineering / Technology with relevant professional qualifications may be considered.
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) from recognised polytechnics with Pass in Computer Science or Computer Engineering/Technology or other relevant disciplines may also be considered

• Admission Requirements for B.Sc. Accounting and B.Sc. Marketing
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) from recognised polytechnics with a minimum of Lower Credit in Accounting/Marketing or other relevant disciplines may also be considered.
  • Third class degree in Accounting/Marketing.
  • Candidates in every category above must possess at least Five (5) Credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings in ‘O’ level subjects
• Admission Requirements for B.Sc. Computer Science
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) from recognized Polytechnics with a Minimum of Lower Credit in Computer Science or Computer Engineering/Technology or any other relevant disciplines may also be considered.
  • Third Class degree in Computer Science
  • Candidates in every category above must obtain Five (5) Credit passes at not more than two sittings in WAEC, NABTEB and or NECO

IMPORTANT NOTICE ON ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:  Candidates who participated in the 2018/2019 UTME examination and scored 180 and above may also be considered for admission irrespective of their choice of institution.

COMPUTER PROFICIENCY: Computer proficiency training and test will be conducted for all applicants.

LAUTECH Second Round Open & Distance Learning Admission – Method of Application.

1. Application forms are available on-line on payment of application fee of  ₦10,000.00 and Technology fee of ₦2,500.00 only.
2. Candidates are expected to register on the Centre’s website; lodlc.lautech.edu.ng by completing and submitting the on-line application form.
3. In completing the on-line application form, candidates are required to upload a scanned passport photograph with white background showing ears, no cap and no glasses. The scanned passport photograph must be in JPEG format (i.e. jpg) and must not be more than 20kb. On submission of the application form, candidates are to print out Referee Form and an Acknowledgement page which will give them access to venue of the Computer Proficiency Training/Test

NOTE: All academic programmes advertised are run on – line on LAUTECH ODL Learning Management System (LMS) Platform for a specified period of time and students will later come to the Campus/approved Centres for tutorial and examinations.
