MDCN Accredits KASU Faculty Of Medicine

MDCN Accredits KASU faculty of Medicine. The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) has finally approved the accreditation of the university’s Faculty of Medicine in the state university after series of failed promises which led to the medical student take their plight to the street for a peaceful protest in November last year. This led to a visit by the council in December to inspect facilities in the faculty and were quiet impressed at how the state government had it together in a short period spanning just about seven year.

The Faculty of Medicine of the Kaduna State University which was established in 2008 with the vision to produce medical doctors and other health personnel who are able to understand the normal and abnormal human anatomy, the family and the society; with enough scientific knowledge to undertake further training to become specialists, teachers and researchers that can improve the health sector of their state and country as a whole.
