This is according to information released on the official website of the University. However, information on time and venue was not released but we believe concerned students would have been served this notice.

The National Universities Commission (NUC) on Tuesday, 27th March, 2012 in Abuja officially granted permit for the establishment of Northwest University, Kano. The University became the 37th State University and the 123rd University in the Nigerian University System.
A total number of 14 academic departments with 28 programmes were approved for the university by the National university commission at inception.
