NOUN Establishes Schools Of Agriculture, Health Sciences

Prof. Vincent Tenebe, the Vice Chancellor, National Open University of Nigeria, on Saturday said the university had established Schools of Agriculture and Health Sciences.

Tenebe disclosed this at the 11th matriculation of NOUN Special Study Centre, Gwagwalada, FCT.

The vice chancellor, who was represented by the Director of NOUN, Gwagwalada Centre, Emmanueel Umoh, said they were approved by NOUN and the NUC.

The vice chancellor informed the students that the university was about perfecting the online facilitation platform.
Tenebe said the university had also enlarged its General Studies programmes to include Communication and Information Technology and General Studies.

He urged the students to make good use of their study materials and other learning avenue to a great extent to ensure success at the end of their programmes.

Some of the students told the News Agency of Nigeria that they were happy as they would now be recognised as students of the university.
