Reports in the media has it that the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has appointed Dr. Folashade Ipaye as the New Registrar and Secretary to the Governing Council of the University. The report of the selection board has been ratified by the Governing Council at ameeting held on July 18. The appointment takes effect from August 1, 2013 for a five year term.
Dr. Folashade Ipaye was born on September 25, 1964 in Lagos, Ipaye (nee Davies) is an indigene of Lagos Island East, Lagos State.
The old student of Our Lady of Apostles Secondary Grammar School, Oyo State (1981) holds a Bachelor of Education/History from the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife-Ife, as well as a Master’s and PhD degrees in Educational Administration from UNILAG in 1987 and 2008, respectively.
She joined UNILAG as Administrative Officer I in December, 1989.
