OAU Calender For 2015/2016 Academic session
The University Council of The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) have released the Academic Calender for 2015/2016 Academic Session. The University celebrates a rich tradition of excellence having produced, from among its staff, a Nobel Laureate and four National Merit Award winners.

The Calender for the 2015/2016 academic seeion is divided into its Harmatan Semester and Rain semester
Harmattan Semester
Online registration for courses for 2015/2016 Harmattan Semester begins as at May 16,2016. Fresh Students Orientation and Screening into the university begins May 30-June 16,2016, the Returning students Come into Residence June 22, 2016.
Lectures commences June 28,2016,Matriculation has been stated for July 21, 2016 which is a formal initiation/welcoming of the Fresh Students into the University with late registration with penalty from july8 -22, 2016.
The harmattan Examination of the university according to the calender would begin September 5-23,2016, there by ending the semester.
Rain Semester
Online registration for the new semester would begin with less than 3days break September 26,2016, with lectures to commence October 10, 2016. Late registration with penalty begins October 21-November 4, 2016
Convocation Ceremony commences December 7-10,2016,with the examination beginning January2-23,2017 ,thereby ending the 2015/2016 Academic session.
